Gratitude
Grateful
Reading a short (free) ebook called “The Power of Gratitude” and while I think a lot of the content was hokey, I believe in the recently featured benefits of being conscious about gratitude, so I’m doing the exercise.
I’m grateful for…
- A weight average that has stayed good over Thanksgiving week
- The ability to have my pets cared for by qualified vets
- My Christmas tree decorated with lights
- My husband’s newfound enthusiasm for Christmas activities
- Yummy but not-too-unhealthy food like Pubhouse Battered Cod
- A body that works for me
- A wealth of great ideas and the freedom to pursue many of them
- Friendships with family
- Being warm and comfy
- The ability to read and write effectively
- My church that cares about people inside and out
- Friends who are happy to just be together
- My great-and-getting-greater marriage
- The “democritization of media”
- Sore muscles that mean I worked hard on a hike
- My thriving business
- Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens… and fun muscials!
- My ability to sing
- Cheap but cute clothes and accesories
- My experience with web development
- Things that smell nice
- The convenience of a laptop (so I can type this while watching Biggest Loser!)
- Clean water as close as my sink or Nalgene bottle
- Silly chat conversations
- Bright colors
- Kiva.org and other innovative difference-makers
- My great library system
Great list of gratitudes! Thanks for linking to my post. Have a beautiful day!
